13 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled on under foot by men.
14 You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden;
15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

When it comes to the worthiness of our callings, we need to take a divine perspective and remember that God's standards are not like those of the world. The world may judge one act of kindness as more significant than the other, but God does not.
When it comes to our dreams and our goals know that God cares about every single detail about them. Because He loves you and because he loves you he loves and cares about your dreams and goals and the things that you love!
His love is so great, we cannot begin to understand the vastness of his love but what we can know and fall into is how much he cares. When we think we aren't special enough because we aren't standing on a stage saving millions or writing books to change lives or living in third world countries serving others, we are forgetting Gods view. A person serving coffee and being a light for their customers is just as powerful as an evangelist risking their life to share Gods word. What matters is, that we show love and kindness in every thing we do!
We may not know what God has planned but what we can know is that we should thrive where we are in this moment and reach for our dreams because God loves you and he loves your dreams because they are yours.
So let your light shine right where you are!
